Things to consider before you apply:
Students must be completing their junior or senior year of high school to be eligible. While remote options exist, most internships are in-person, located at companies in Kansas City, and all Friday company visits are in-person.

NOMINATION
It’s recommended to include a letter of recommendation from a teacher or school administrator. Please have them email it to hello@yepkc.org. Early submissions are encouraged.
The application deadline for 2025 is February 17th. Qualifiers will be contacted by March 15th.
Qualifying candidates may go through three interviews before acceptance. Candidates will be contacted after each interview via email with instructions regarding the next step of the process.
